Acid wash jeans, big hair, Brat Pack films…and Lake Forest in Louisville, Kentucky.  No, Lake Forest doesn’t come to mind when you think about the 80’s, but this wonderful community was established during that ever so eccentric time period.

A relatively young community, compared to the many historically recognized neighborhoods in the Louisville area, Lake Forest is a great place to call home!  That “Members Only” jacket came make its comeback on the Arnold Palmer designed 18-hole championship golf course.  Residents can “Get Physical” in a number of ways – from the many swimming pools, tennis and volleyball courts, playground areas, and nature trails! The wide, tree lined streets and open spaces will be prove to be a perfect, scenic drive in that classic Deloreon.

There are plenty of social activities that even the Dungeons and Dragons player won’t be able to resist!  The Lake Forest Lodge features an annual Easter egg hunt, a 4th of July firework celebration, Halloween parties, Christmas gatherings and Santa visits, and a New Year’s Eve gala.  Residents can also enjoy bourbon tastings, wine tastings, comedy clubs, bridge games, and plenty of educational seminars.  You’ll want to get some comfortable penny loafers, as Lake Forest is a very active community!

Thank Tiffany ;)  There is a *slight chance* that I owned parachute pants at one point, but I really did need the extra pockets!  Trust me ;)
