Acid wash jeans, big hair, Brat Pack films…and Lake Forest in Louisville, Kentucky. No, Lake Forest doesn’t come to mind when you think about the 80’s, but this wonderful community was established during that ever so eccentric time period.

There are plenty of social activities that even the Dungeons and Dragons player won’t be able to resist! The Lake Forest Lodge features an annual Easter egg hunt, a 4th of July firework celebration, Halloween parties, Christmas gatherings and Santa visits, and a New Year’s Eve gala. Residents can also enjoy bourbon tastings, wine tastings, comedy clubs, bridge games, and plenty of educational seminars. You’ll want to get some comfortable penny loafers, as Lake Forest is a very active community!
