Active Rain -- newbie tips #1 -- joining groups.
When someone is new to Active Rain, they may be looking for a starting point. Here are some quick suggestions
- Log in every day (100 points). Blog daily (200 points each) Comment (25 points each). Ten comments per day. Re blog (25 points). Invite others and get points from their activity. Points are given for updating your profile.
- Like the name Active Rain says -- get Active. To learn more, read the manual.
- Look in groups. Find some groups that interest you and join. Read, comment and post to those groups. Subscribe to blogs that you enjoy reading.
- Not sure how to do something? Go to the "search" link at the top, type in a question or phrase and you will find a blog about it. Also look at the FAQ link at the bottom of the page. As you progress, it will get easier.
