October is a strong month so far in Chesterfield Township!

I realized that it was past the 15th of the month and is my habit I wanted
to see how the real estate market in Chesterfield Township is faring during
this mid-month period.

When I looked back at the same time period for October of 2006 and compared
it to this time frame I became excited and feel more positive today than ever.

There were 68 residential homes listed from October 1st through October17th.
In comparison, during this time frame last year 76 residential homes went on
the market.   Fewer homes hit the market which means that the "supply and
demand" may soon swing back to a nice balance. 

More homes are selling in Chesterfield Township!  18 homes sold during this time
period, compared with 14 homes last year.

The statistic I found even more encouraging is the total days on the market.
During this current period the total days on the market for our this of Macomb
County is 137.  This is a drop of 97 days!  For the same time period in 2006 the
today days on the market was 234.

I wish I could put into words how happy I am to see                      
the real estate market in Chesterfield Township showing
positive signs of a turnaround.  Instead I'll spare all of you
from reading my overexcited sentiments and let the giddiness
of the dancing bear do it for me!
