Arizona Home Stagers... You're Invited to the Round Up

How can a simple phone call to set up a friendly meeting turn into an industry "summit"? Easy... just have one ActiveRain member talk to another.

Since I have been a member of ActiveRain, I have met amazing people in the real estate industry that I would not normally have met.

So next week, when I was to be in Phoenix area for business, I thought it would be nice to casually meet with an ActiveRain stager or 2 that I "know" from here... but I have never meet in person.

I happened to first called Calie Waterhouse to see if she was available, and then the next thing I know we were planning a Stager's Round Table Discussion session.

With the state of the real estate market and with home staging on the grow we figured the more people the better the discussion.... we turned a meeting of few into a meeting for many. So you intrested in home staging you are invited to join us for a breakfast meeting this coming Monday at 9:30 AM in Scottsdale.

While this meeting will be a bit social, we do plan on getting down to business. We will have a 10 Question round table discussion that you are welcome to take part in. We will be talking about best practices, industry challenges, marketing tips and more.

Marci... this puppy EXPLODED. I just called Calie and she and I ramped this up in ON conversation.

THIS is what happens when 2 marketing people come together. So don't blame us blame our parents cause they birthed us with our marketing genes.

Having met Craig for the first time earlier this year in Chicago, I highly recommend everyone attending an event like this who can fit or re-tool it into their schedule. He's an incredible reservoir of ideas and insights. I'm still deriving benefit from the thoughts he shared. It will definitely be worth your time & more...

Craig - I second Marci's proposal! When are you coming to SC? You know we were voted one of the top 5 friendliest places to visit!

Craig -- A meeting as important as this should be photographed, recorded, and put on Youtube.com so those of us that are "green with envy" can fully appreciate all that we are missing.

I just checked on flights and the lowest i could find was 213.00 . I hope there will be a next summit. If there is i will get my ticket way in advance. Have fun all of you and will be looking forward to reading the follow up blog.

Craig - You know you are creating high expectations (jealousy -ha!) from everyone in all the other areas. You might just have to take this whole concept on the road! I'm sure the creative sparks will be flying at this gathering. I just know it will be productive and fun. Autumn in New England is not to be missed, they say......

Great networking idea, and I know there will be a couple of very informative posts to come from this! Do any stagers plan on attending NAR in Las Vegas next month?

Craig, good to see your face again here. It almost makes me want to become an official home stager! What a great opportunity for all home stagers.

Hi Craig! So for those of us that can't attend, will there be a "CALL IN" number :) We'll sip our vino and chat with ya'll from afar (until you come to our cities that is :) - HA! )

FYI - I'll be in Napa Valley Nov 8th for 5 days. Anyone want to meet up there for a discussion at a local winery??? Wine, cheese and Home Staging...nummy!

I would love to have a Summit in NJ so stagers from PA, LI, NY, NJ can all attend. What are your thoughts on that?? Also years ago I worked for a mortgage company and every Sunday eve we had a huge conference call meeting. There was always an agenda, then opened up to questions, not sure how they went about that but each participant had a number to call and we oftentimes had about 40 people on the call.

Phyllis... plans are in the works to have more LIVE meetings in other parts of the US. INCULDING in the PA, LI, NY, NJ regions. We'll let you know more as we know more.

HOWEVER... your idea for the telephone calls is GOOSEBUMPY (If there is such a word) awesome.
