Donald Trump says "It's NOW time to buy Real Estate!"

Whether you like him or not, Donald Trump knows Real Estate. We can undoubtedly say that he has made more money in Real Estate then most. So this is what I heard him say last night on a television interview. He predicted that we are going to see the market turning in the next 6 months to a year, so now is a great time to buy!

I know that I am not the only one who heard him last night, so let's hope that buyers will tap into his wisdom and make this happen. It's been reported for quite a while now how bad the Real Estate market is, and the reports have caused the market to become what it is. So, maybe reporting the opposite will help it to improve.

I have personally already noticed a change in the market as of the last few weeks, as I know many Real Estate agents have reported in Active Rain. So let's keep things moving in a positive direction!!!

The market has been remarkably stable in Canada with a few blips this year. Over the past month or so we've seen a flurry in the marketplace which is refreshing after a year long drought. I'd like to be "the Donald's" real estate apprentice for a week just to get inside his head.

I think we are starting to see more good news and good signs that we have in a while.

Diane...I like Donald Trump......I hope people listen to Trump.He has made his wealth from real estate and does know what he is talking about!

I check the Hot Sheet EVERY morning at 7am to see yesterdays activity (also I religiously pursue expired listings, which is how I average 40 listings at any given time) and have noticed over the past few weeks more homes going pending than in the past, so hopefully people are waking up!

Denise ~ I have been VERY encouraged with the activity that I have seen recently. I think we could all learn from him!

BLR~ I like him too. He is a very intelligent business man, and says what is on his mind. You never have to wonder what he is thinking!

Hi Diane! I saw that too and while I am not a big fan of him, he did have many words of wisdom to say about this market. I really liked his story about the $1 million dollar building turning into $600 mil in 12 years. On the flip side of that advice he advised people to avoid the middleman and was specific about agents being the middle man.

His message of "No pain, no gain" was loud and clear.

I have also noticed a change in the residential market tempo here in the DC Metro area. Even more noticeable is the tremendous commercial activity going on.

I've just started reading The Donalds new book "Think Big And Kick Ass" and I can't put it down. Yes, the man have skills, brains and a great track record. I believe him.

Hopefully Mr. trump gets the opportunity to make these statements in the public forum more often in the future. The positive outlook with help.

Renee~ I think that he really is just trying to make the most out of every deal, as is everyone else. Real Estate agents are a necessity though in many, many ways.

I couldn't agree with you more! I have been saying for a while now that instead of focusing on how "BAD" the market is right now for sellers, we need to focus on how "GOOD" the market is right now for buyers!

It is Michael! It's great for Buyers... they can ask for and get the necessary repairs, and feel like they are getting a good value for their money!

I sell new construction in California and we had the best week since May. We sold 4 homes...I feel the confidence is shifting. It's the same feeling I had in September 2005 when the market reached its peak and inventory started to build
