It wasn't too long ago that I would caution property owners to expect a 6-7 month average time-line to complete a Short Sale. I am happy to report that the average approval times seem to be getting shorter -- at least in the Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice, Lakewood Ranch areas of Florida's Gulf Coast.

I am now finding average time-lines for approval to be in the 4-5 month range -- an improvement of a full two months over a year ago!
