North Valleys Regional Park is located in the Sky Vista Subdivision in the Community of Stead
I was in the Sky Vista subdivision on Wednesday previewing some homes for an out-of-state client. I have sold several homes in the area and I love everything about the neighborhood.
On this visit I decided to check out the North Valleys Regional Park and take some photos to provide information to prospective buyers on the Sky Vista neighborhood and Stead.
The park offers sweeping views of the Peavine Mountain Range and a panorama of high desert open space. The regional park is 160 acres and has 4 regulation soccer fields, 2 youth soccer fields, 4 youth baseball fields which are all monitored and regulated.
There are several playgrounds, basketball courts, biking paths, horseshoe pits, horse trails, hiking trails and a skateboard park which was being actively used when I was there.
For an complete enjoyable day at the park pack a lunch and use on of the picnic tables sprinkled around. There are pavillons you can reserve for special events. There is a small picnic area that is cozy and intimate with 4 tables and a medium picnic area. For bigger functions there is a large community center buuilding with an adjacent outdoor patio and barbecue area.
