6 Comments on Think before you Swim -Water Safety in Clark County, Washington
Debb, That is such a great reminder. We have had a lot of drownings in Utah this summer, more than I can remember in a long time!
Tony, we've had an abnormally cool and rainy spring and summer - therefore, when we get a warm weekend - everybody goes crazy and hits the water. Sadly, that's when we have problems. All of these drownings are preventable.
We should all consider this when enjoying the water for the day; it doesn't matter how experienced you are if you don't know the water's anything can happen.
One life lost is one too many. Excellent plea to local residents to be more diligent and only swim where approved and safe.
Hi Debb. It's easy to let common sense go out the window. Great reminder to pay attention and be safe.
