That nasty heat wave blanketed most of the country this week, but it didn't keep our bloggers down. Here is a list of posts that, for whatever reason, caught my eye this week:
1. Susan Emo: DUH, I KNOW YOU CALLED - I HAVE CALLER ID!!! Susan brings us the rules of engagement for telephone etiquette.
2. Jason Sardi: In Lieu of a Happy Birthday Roast. OK, OK. So his birthday was a week ago! Sardi, think of it as a belated birthday card!
3. Tye & John Watson: Home Buyers and the New Carbon Monoxide Law in CA Law or not, these things are just a good idea.
4. Jennifer Fivelsdal: Wild Raspberries Over Ice-Cream Perfect On A Hot Summer Night The photo is beautiful, and I could taste the berries through my computer screen!
5. Tish Lloyd: I'm not selling you a home -- I'm helping you buy one This does seem to be the paradigm for when working with buyers.
6. William Johnson: Lazy Days of Summer Hot is one thing, but when you have this much fur, it's gotta be a bitch!
7. Jeff Dowler: Cannon Art Gallery in Carlsbad CA | July - September 2011 Exhibit "Almost Alice" This is an example of a great local post -IMHO
8. Charles Buell: Home inspector finds evidence of mischief! This post is just way fun. What an imagination, Charles!
9. Kay Van Kampen: You Realtors Are Only Out To Make Money! This one contains some great scripts we can all suck into our brains for just the right moment.
10. Ellen Caruso: The "Whale Tales" #11 This is a sweet post. I went back to look at the other ten, and they are equally enchanting.
11. Chris Hooks: Do You See What I See? This says a lot about how the local real estate market impacts the local economy.
12. Lenn Harley: "Planning ahead" is fine, as long as access to the property under contract doesn't have to be entered. Important advice here.
13. Tni LeBlanc: Bank of America’s Bogus War Against Short Sale Dual Agency Just one more example of the big bank shooting itself in the foot.
14. Elisha Grace: Taking care of Delinquent Accounts Elisha is a newbie blogger who I ran across last week, and she's off to a great start.
And 15. Kristine Ginsberg: Be Effective in Business and in Life Kristine combines good advice with some stunning photos.
So that's all for this week. See you again next Sunday. Have a productive week and stay cool! Oh wait, that might not be possible.
