Where to begin......
Real Estate has been in my family for over 50 years. My grandfather bought/sold/transacted real estate in and around Sacramento for years, and my mother Patti Martinez has been a consistent Top Producer in Sacramento for 30+ years.
I decided to get into the industry a little over 6 years ago. I was no longer interested in the typical 8-5 desk job. I got into the industry at a prime time, December 2002. Shortly after entering the industry, the market exploded! Unfortunately for me, at that time, I was still very green and it still took me a year or two to find my niche and feel competent.
Having lived in Sacramento my entire life, more specifically in the Land Park area, I know a lot of people in this town. I have surpassed my 6th year in the business, and LOVE what I do. I work for Lyon Real Estate, the regions leading Real Estate broker (fact, not opinion)
We are in the midst of a correcting/stabilizing market now, which is fine. Daily I hear of Real Estate agents complaining about the market, lack of sales, buyers on the fence, etc. I am also seeing a ton of agents getting out of the business because of the challenges this market brings. Even better, more business for myself, and for agents that are dedicated to hard work, because although the general consensus is that Realtors make easy money, I'm here to tell you that that is not true. Sure, some deals go smoothly and seem easy, but unless you've been in the business, and have been through a complete sales transaction, nobody has any idea what it's like. It's hard work, but well worth the payoff!
I speak fluent Spanish in addition to my native language, English. I have lived and travelled in Mexico extensively, as well as Spain.
I'm a hard worker, and am passionate about what I do.
