While the Buyers are focusing on their summer vacation, sellers should be busy preparing their homes for sale.
Take this slower time in Real Estate to do those repairs and updates that your home will need to compete. When the market picks up again your home will be ready.
Now is the time to change out those dated light fixtures or kitchen hardware.
Replace that damaged flooring and paint over those very personal color choices you made.
Do those small repairs that can raise red flags for buyers.
Make those changes to the curb appeal that will make a great first impression and draw the buyers inside.
This is the time to clear out and upgrade closets and storage areas.
Add those 'I wants' that buyers will be looking for in a home.
Doing it now will give you a chance to enjoy the improvements you have made to your home.
By using this time to your advantage, you can take your time instead of making changes in a rush at the last minute.
While the Buyers are at play, Sellers should be investing their time in improvements.
Get ahead of the game. Get busy.
