We finally had a measurable rain fall today;
it was during the 5:00 to 6:30 pm time slot;
It was very welcome to the grass, flowers, birds & humans;
Around 8:00 pm I noticed some very interesting cloud formations;
Thought " Camera";
Followed through even as the sun set lower and the colors changed.
At the first there was a palpable feeling of humidity and the photos show that :
... I thought it might be a blotch on the lens--not so;
One special formation appeared over the House directly across from our Home; two houses to the left of the tree in the above photo. When cropping those photos, I see the 'Ghost riders in the sky' heading to the North;
Turning to the South or West [lines are blurred on the directions; a little of both]
Looking back to the North one last time:
Finally--our two Grilling-folks say goodnight;
It is 10:40 p.m. and quite foggy or hazy out there now
Barb, great shots....today we got cooler and a few rain drops but not enough to water the plants and the yard. Tonight windows are open and fresh air feels good!
We got quite a storm on Sunday too. I love clouds, I could watch them all day!
The cloud photos were nice. What's the vehicle with keyless start? I've not looked at cars in awhile. I usually drive mine until my wife is too embarrased to be seen in mine.
Liz...here's hoping tht by now you did get some needed showers; we did have rain earlier tonight & perhaps Friday & Saturday too. Grass is brownish since we are on a water ban. The flowers can still be watered by hose, but nothing like the benefits of a steady rain. Thanks for your comment. ATT & business projects kept me off site until tonight. Thanks for your comment & have a great week.

Ellen...can't wait until windows can be opened again during the day & especially at night--don't even mind the 'late night ' parties if I can have the fresh air. Still too humid outside for that, but today started out at 75* and that felt so good.
The rain was pretty steady tonight, so am hoping that the flowers revive some.
Thanks for your comment. Have a good week.

Laura...that is good that you got a solid storm; hopefully it was just what the grass & flowers needed. Clouds are fun aren't they. Love to see what is shown up there.
We all need the rain---at least at last count the reports said 45 of the 50 states were in need of waters from the heavens. Thanks for your comment. Have a good week. [ATT is playing with me & my computer again-hope this posts. LOL ]

Wayne..the car I am speaking to is Sal's Cadillac--the steering and dash are shown in the background photo for this post
.
I don't drive it; it is keyed to Sal; it unlooks when he comes up to it; has keys doesn't use them. Totally annoying, but oh so sharp; many other colors too.Thanks for your comment. Thanks for the associate add , too. Have a good week
