Maybe the Florida heat gets to people but I can't believe when taking my son to school today that another parent was able to cut me off and almost hit two other cars in-order to get to the parking lot first of my son's school. Of course the other parent did beat me to the school and did get the perfect spot while I was a whole 10 seconds behind him and was able to park next to him. Oh how I remember my younger days when my temper would get the best of me and I would have said something and maybe something else. But now my child was with me as well as the other parents child was with him.
If this is starting to sounds like a vent it is! It seems so many people are all caught up with themselves that they fail to realize that other people exists and have children and lives of their own. When getting to a school zone please remember that when it is flashing 20 MPH this does not mean for everyone else but you! It means for everyone including yourself.
Now for my big vent. When a School bus is showing the RED FLASHING Lights that even Stevie Wonder can see this means STOP. This does not mean it is OK to pass on the left. Last week while sitting at a light I watched numerous cars pass the School Bus while small Children where unloading off the bus. This was not a divided highway but a four lane road.
This just brings me back to my point earlier, are we just so caught up in our lives that we don't see other things? People wake up and get off the FREAKING Cell phone and pay attention! How would you feel if it is your child getting of that school bus?
Ok now I feel better thank you for letting me vent.

Matt, I was thinking of doing a post like this last year. The school zone speed limit in my town (Ormond Beach) is 15MPH. I hate to see all of this myself. Passing a School Bus on the left? BIG NO NO!
