http://www.CariDandy.comThe concerts are from 7 to 9 p.m. at Kierland Commons Center Plaza, 15205 N Kierland Blvd., Phoenix, just west of Scottsdale Road. This is the eighth year and the evening concerts draw residents from throughout the Valley, making the shows bigger each year. Shop, dine and relax and listen (and people watch like crazy!).

Kierland Commons:  15205 N. Kierland Blvd., on the SW Corner of Kierland Blvd. and Scottsdale Rd.

Scottsdale Quarter splash pad

The new splash pad at the Scottsdale Quarter is a big hit, with moms and kids laying out their towels on the chaise lounges, with nearby misters, tables and chairs and shade.  But wait, there’s more…valet parking is just steps away at the eastern edge of the plaza!http://www.CariDandy.com

Spray-pad fountains with pop-up jets and nozzles that provide cooling relief have emerged over the past few decades at Valley parks, pools and shopping centers. Evaporative cooling from the fountains provides relief from the Sonoran desert's arid climate.  There are a dozen spray pads in the Scottsdale area throughout city parks and shopping centers.

The splash pad is located just around the corner from True Food Kitchen, and is close to Grimaldi’s Pizzeria, Coal Burger, Menchie's Frozen Yogurt and the It's Sugar candy store.

Scottsdale Quarter:  15279 N. Scottsdale Rd.,  SE corner of Greeway Hayden Loop and Scottsdale Rd.
