50 Comments on IT'S EVEN TOO HOT FOR THE DOGS IN GANANOQUE!
Thank you for sharing your blog; we need Real estate Professionals to share their comments and information regarding their markets and experiences. Thanks again from beautiful Sunny San Diego! Love the Video
Cute! I probably shouldn't say this out loud, but we have not had a lot of heat this year except for the last couple of days. It has been hot, but not humid, so rather pleasant for me.
Hi Paul - say hi to beautiful San Diego for me. I haven't been in about 10 years and I think I am overdue for another visit!
Lynda - WHAT ARE YOU DOING PUTTING THAT OUT THERE!!!! You are going to get hit with the humidity stick for that comment! I'm with you though, I don't mind the heat but the humidity is a killer.
Hey Susan, 99 in Denver yesterday. What is going on with the heat? Hope all is fine with you and hit the pool if you have time. What is for dinner?
Susan, even in this heat, my cat won't go near the splash pool...
but we do put ice in her water.
Hi Will - is it supposed to be that hot in the mountains? I will admit to getting into the pool with the dogs but only when their water is fresh, LOL.
On the menu tonite at Emo's Eating Emporium is a Decontructed Crab Salad on split Romaine hearts. (I find it a more filling meal with the lettuce served almost like a steak: 2 inches thick and practically meaty! Some people lightly grill it too) Doesn't this look more appetizing than a bunch of torn up leaves? I like to trim the brown off the stem or core, makes it prettier to eat!
Chris - my two cats used to LOVE the water. One would swim out to meet me on a floater and happily spend the day with her tail dragging in the water. The other would constantly go down the slide after leaping towards birds and missing. No problem . . . she would simply swim to the steps and make her way up the slide again and patiently wait for the next bird!
Ice cubes in the water is a great way to keep their water cool. I've heard of water bowls that can be put in the freezer overnight and the bowl itself freezes. Sort of like those blue containers for the cooler. Anything to keep the kids cool!
Susan, It looks like Gus just wants an indoor pool! It has been hot here also!
I thought I recognized Gus from this post last yr. Hope it isn't that hot this year. It is going to be hot here at 89 and the next several days in the low 90* Pool weather for sure. Mine is slightly bigger that the dogs though. Smiling. Your dinner sounds scrumptious
LOL I love the little guy Gus! Determined little bugger just like my Wookie used to be. They get what they put their minds to. Too fun!
Hey you're going to laugh - we actually are expecting a 'cool down' in Phoenix. To a mere 103 today!!
Susan: I laughed so hard at Gus...he was one determined bulldog! And isn't an indoor pool a better choice if you are protecting your skin? Glad your pups know how to enjoy summer...staying inside.
Tony - keep your cool!
Sharon - the bigger the pool the better in this weather. But then again, even a jump thru the sprinkler would be welcome in this weather if we wern't on a water watch!!
I love Summer Salads - it is what we live on these days with the odd bit of protein included.
Anna - you did make me laugh! At least your heat is a dry heat? (I may be wrong)
I'm sure it feels like walking into an oven when you step outdoors. Keep your cool too!
Hi Gwynn - I would think Gus would be concerned about sunburn with that light coloured face and muzzle of his! He's a wise one.
Hi Susan,
Great pictures and video. It is so important to keep your pets cool and plenty of water. Thanks.
Susan - Seriously?!! I had no idea it was so hot back east. Hey, can you send some warm weather our way? They've dubbed June in Vancouver "Junuary" because it's so darned cold and rainy!
Your doggies look adorable, and very happy to be splashing around in that pool. Stay cool!
