Does anyone do Home Buyer or Home Seller Seminars?  What's your turnout?  How many prospects do you actually convert to clients?  Where and how do you advertise them?  How often do you hold them, etc.  Just doing some planning for '08 and thinking about working them into my plan......your thoughts?  Thanks!

We've held them in the past....we've had great participation but have not turned any into actual clients...... I'm sure somewhere down the road it will have a benefit, just waiting for that time!

I stopped doing them for lack of conversion. I do a mail-out every two months to an apartment complex, picking a new one each time. I usually get two or three responses and average about fifty percent closings with them. The rest I help to get to the position to being able to buy but I loose half of them to New Construction as walk- ins.

I still try to go to as many as i can only because if you pay close attenetion to these people having them i find they bring in ideas from around the country so i think its not bad to listen and find out maybe one new trick

Spend a week at Larry Kendall's Ninja selling retreat and then start doing them.  Your whole approach will be different and I think very productive.  You can learn more about it by visiting this site:

I went to go edit my previous post but I deleted instead.  Sorry.

Thanks for stopping in Keith & Robin.  I'm on the fence about them....sometimes the turnout is great and others it's so so.  I'm looking to get swayed in either direction.

I did my first one this month as you know, and I loved it. I did not advertise, but rather just marketed to my sphere of influence, and people brought friends, and I felt like it was a success. Will it produce new closed sales? Not right away, but I definitely strengthened my relationship with my clients in attendance, and I am sure the referral business from that will pay dividends. I love to help others learn, so for me, it just fuels my passion for the business, which is worth a lot in terms of helping me stay excited and positive about what I do. That can only help business!

We'll have to stay tuned to see how things work out Sean!  Keep me posted - been thinking about doing a seminar, just want to make sure that it's worth the time.
