I Want Good Credit!!

It is becoming more important then ever to make sure that you have outstanding credit. The rate you pay on your home mortgage, car loan and credit cards are directly reflected by your credit score. Some insurance companies are using your credit score to help determine your rates, or if you should even be insured.

Just because you have Bad Credit doesn't mean that you are a bad person.

  • Things happen even to the best of us that are outside of our control. Divorce, Disability, Death, Sickness, Job Loss, Unexpected Home Repair. All of these can affect our income and ultimately, our ability to make our payments. Eventually, these impact our credit scores and can change our lives for the worse.
  • Sometimes we make mistakes and have to live with the consequences. That new ski boat doesn't look so good when you're 3 payments behind and the bill collector is calling.
  • Credit vendors make mistakes. You can make a payment only to have them report you as late, and it takes an act of God, or in this case Congress, to help you restore your good name and credit.

Often, we are still living with these bad credit decisions years later even though the events that caused them have been resolved.

Unfortunately, the Credit Bureaus use computers to analyze your data and compare it with others with similar characteristics. While this has improved efficiencies and eliminated much discrimination, it also has made the system extremely impersonal. The Credit Bureau's computers don't listen to your story or make judgement decisions based on how they feel you will perform in the future. You are a "risk", whether good or bad, based on what has happened in your past.

Your future is judged by your past in arriving at your credit scores. Often, this puts you in the position of not being able to change your situation because you can't get rid of the junk on your credit report.

Congress has stepped in and enacted the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Fair Credit Reporting Act to help protect us. The laws are set up for you to be able to do this yourself.

While you don't need to hire an expert to correct errors on your credit report, it is often helpful to have a professional who's job it is do this everyday assist you. They know the ins and the outs of the law and can usually accomplish more in less time then you can on your own.

Usually the cost of their service is quickly recovered in a better interest rate over a few months time. If it's for a mortgage, the savings can be realized in the 1st month.

We are pleased to recommend HTDI Financial as a reputable Credit Repair company. Click on the link and you will be directed to a portal that will ask for some basic contact information prior to being directed to their web site. You will also receive a very detailed email from them so make sure that you check your SPAM folder.

Soon after leaving your contact information, an agent of HTDI Financial, probably Brian Aber, will give you a call to discuss their program and fees. If the program isn't for you, he'll let you know.

You really have nothing to lose and you could have much to gain. So get started today.

Hi Larry-

Great information, as usual. This is a lesson some of us have learned (unfortunately) through trial and error. Have a great Halloween !

It is sometime time that is the best credit repair, but during that time you need to be perfect! But, it is good to know that their are still good credit repair companies out there.

Thanks Kelli and Todd.

Yes, time heals most wounds, but in the mean time, there is often ways to correct what is incorrect and improve a borrower's situation.
