Today is a paint day :-)

Was hanging out with Yolie and Nydia earlier. Took a break and made a bee line for Starbucks so I could meet the girls for a briefing then pick up some pizza. I'm in portrait mode (and obsessing over my paintings - silly grin). I have a bunch of interesting stuff in the works. I'm particularly pleased about how the wee people are coming out. Stephen is always fun to illustrate and Noah is my guy pie. ;-)

Emmy's portrait is coming along lovely. I'm teasing her in Facebook and instant chatting with Cheryl Johnson. I can't resist teasing Emelia (it's what I do- LOL) but I'm going to have to start posting her sketches or she is going to kick my blogger's butt (LMAO). Will post a couple of illustrations either after dinner tonight or for breakfast tomorrow. I promised the Minion Blur I'd Skype him later on my next break (which is now). He has new cars to show off so I'm looking forward to it. We were on-line together for lunch at Nydia's house but Noah was busy scripting a movie and I didn't want to ruin his Echolalia moment. It's an Autism thing (LOL). Susan Stokes wrote a nice post regarding this subject that you can read here. Some people have no idea what this entails so you may find it useful to click the links. :-)

Studio Update: We're rocking out the next album because I'm in the mood to make a significant amount of noise. Got a slamming drum track recorded this morning and will be shredding virtual guitars on the Korg tomorrow.

I am not supposed to be blogging but since I ran out to grab dinner I figured I'd pop in and say a brief hello. Time to get the pizza and go back to work. Will pop back in later to check on you guys (and tease Emmy some more). :-)

Laura, I'm working 10 to 12 hours writing and composing. My brain is starting to crave coffee (said the tea drinker - LOL). Just popped into Starbucks to take a break and answer some e-mail. We're heading out to the studio in an hour so I'll probably blog tomorrow before gym practice. Got art to post. ;-)

Dena thanks for the link, it is so true that we don't aywals realize how many lives we touch, of people we may never meet in person but still have a connection with. Your story is a great reminder of that.
