Hi Everyone,
Let me know what you think about this type of blog. I think I'm going to try to write at least one a week. There's a lot of things that can fit into these categories.
Overrated- Jogging. Now I'm sure there's a few, maybe even quite a few of you who would argue this, and I hope you do! I need to lose a few pounds for sure, but my feet already hurt at the end of the day and there are times when my back gives me problems. The last thing I need right now is to have these pains increase because I'm running around the neighborhood sweating like a pig.
Underrated- A new computer. Sure you wouldn't want to buy one every year, but I just purchased a new one and it's quiet, fast and awesome! Plus the monitor that came with it is almost as big as my tv.
I'll try to put a couple of each Overrated and Underrated's in each post, but right now I gotta run.
Please, add you own or comment on mine. I'd love to hear from you!
Talk to you soon,
Eric...
Nice idea for a post Eric! I agree with your underrated topic and as for jogging....I don't enjoy it at the beginning but love the way I fell after and stretching is way underrated, makes a huge difference!
Bruce, I'm with you on the comic book glasses, but I don't know that I want to be nuked every time I'm going on a plane. I think we all should be searched, though, for sure!
Diane, thanks! I'd rather do a fast walk or a good bike ride. Maybe I'm just not built for jogging?
Eric, We got a new laptop this year after about 7-8 years since the last one. Seriously kicks butt despite all the new Windows 7 stuff we had to use.
BLiz, I got another desktop, but for the house it works great. I'm still thinking about a laptop though.
Eric, love this new series. I'm with you on the jogging. I much prefer biking and walking to running and I do do it regularly. As for computers, I got a new one recently and should have done it a lot sooner. Now I'm on the fence about an IPAD2. Underated or overrated? What say you?
Eric~ I need to come up with some short topics of my own.... Maybe by this time next week I can get something going....
Eric,
I like the idea of overrated/underrated. And I happen to agree with both of yours
If the bigger monitor is important, maybe, just maybe a new pair of eyeglasses might be cheaper than a bigger monitor.
I'll help Leah...iPad is over rated in my book...it's useful but not the end all.
To stay on the Real Estate tools topic...DocuSign is underrated...it is a tool I could not live without.
I love the idea Eric! Sounds like it could be a lot of fun. I can't think of anything to add right now but I will!
Leah, about the iPad, I'm just not sold yet. I know a few people in my office who got one before and couldn't talk about them enough, but I haven't seen or heard anything about them for months.
Melissa, as creative as you are, you'll come up with something!
Scott, thanks for coming by. Much appreciated.
Todd, my eyes are fine, so far. Thenew monitor is just pretty cool.
CIndy, I've heard of Docusign a few times and I think I need to look into it.
Jared, thank, and I'm sure you will. I don't think I've every known you to not come up with something!
I think I get all the fitness I need by jumping in and out of my car and running into homes. I don't find anything fun about jogging! As far as the computer - got one at the beginning of June! VERY NICE as you mentioned!
Eric, I agree jogging is overrated and a new computer is underrated. Swimming is much better... :) and a new computer is always appreciated.
That's a great idea for a weekly post. It will be interesting to read what you've come up with every week.
Judi, once I get my shoulder fixed, I'll be swimming a Lot!
Don, thanks. I have a few ideas already.
LMAO at Todd! And, Renee is the QUEEN of BPOs!
Jogging, in my opinion also, is overrated! And, a new computer...well, I'm coming up on 2 years so, I don't feel a new one is underrated...I'd be ecstatic if I got a new one for my birthday this month! :-)
Good to know the eyes are doing OK then. I used to run 20 miles a day, not sure I could run a mile now, but when I could run that far, I felt amazing, like I could do anything. (One weekend, even took off and rode 150 mile round trip to the beach on the weekend for the MS Challenge - Do miss those days)
Todd, that's amazing. I couldn't run 20 miles to save my life, but I think I could bike 150 in a weekend. That's something that I want to do one day. Ride from the West Coast back to my house in Michigan.
