Rockin’ Recovery in Bozeman Montana

By
Real Estate Agent with Bozeman Montana Real Estate .net

Here in Bozeman, Montana, the Rockin’ R Bar has long been a customary haunt for present college students and graduates from many years past.  A wonderful mix of ages and personalities create a vivid and entertaining crowd.

More than 2 years ago, a gas explosion in downtown Bozeman brought that, and our beautiful town, to a halt…. For awhile.

After Explosion:                    Rockin' R After Explosion

As a testament to the spirit here, and to the confidence in the business our small town drives to our downtown area, the owners decided to rebuild!  Last night was the grand re-opening, and what a turn out it was.  A waiting line to get in that even us old folks would stand in, a fabulous alley band, and standing room only.

Congratulations to the owners.  Thank you for your confidence and stamina in seeing it through.  We are excited to offer our residents a community that is strong.  Real Estate purchases here are an investment in your family and your sense of wellness.

I love the way communities always pull together after set backs. It's people helping people.... Like real estate, it's about the relationships.

Jenifer - out of the ashes a new and revitalized business is blooming ..... and out of the ashes of the mortgage meltdown the American Dream of Home Ownership will fuel the recovery.

Jenifer - kudos to the owners of the Rockin' R Bar, who had faith in your town.  What a great story - and yes, a good sign of the real estate recovery in Bozeman.

Joni...  yes, we are always stronger than we think we are as communities.  I do love the human spirit.

Kathy... Here's hoping that the pendulum swings back a little for mortgages, a little more funding would go a long ways to helping us recover.  Please don't think that I advocate loaning to borrowers that are not qualified here, but investors who have 30% down in a condo project with fewer than 50% owner occupancy that cannot get financing is a little bizzarre.  Americans will always want to own their own homes, they will just need the funding to do so.

Virginia....I love that they were willing to invest in a resurection and then some, the new building is beautiful and a true work of art for our downtown enviroment.  We are so proud of them!

That's a wonderful story. The new place looks like fun. It's great that the owners didn't give up.
