It was great to see the July Realtor Caravan homes this month.  A good mix of old and new, small and large, and nothing over $1,000,000.  It just keeps getting better!
 
1. Funky Town,  Haiku  $449,000.00
- half acre lot right at 5 corners, with 2 buildings which are used as dwellings, heavy jungle vegetation makes it very private
- 3BD/2BA main house was once a barn and you can tell from the interesting shape and interior, bonus ohana is cute and has it's own driveway
 
2. Chalet Style, Haiku  $475,000.00
- 2-story cedar A-frame 3BD/2BA home with a wall of windows, upper level makes a great master suite with private deck, 3 bedrooms downstairs
- almost an acre with many mature fruit trees, good separation from neighbors, EMI ditch runs past the back of property, large storage shed
 
3. Gated Neighborhood, Haiku  $780,000.00
- 4 acres with a sweet single level 2BD/2BA cottage, detached 720 sf matching workshop on other side of the palm lined concrete driveway

Charley's Restaurant soon to close it's doors in Paia Maui

End of an era:  The legendary Charley's Restaurant in Paia is undergoing a change of ownership after more than 45 years!  We still don't know what's going to happen after the end of the month when the new owner takes over, but it's going to be interesting at any rate.  We had a great Woofer burger and Caesar Salad on the weekend, and it just might be the last time we enjoy sitting in this Paia landmark that's commonly known as Willie Nelson's favorite place to eat breakfast on Maui.
