WOW - More Good News About Housing Reported in the Los Angeles Times

The Los Angeles Times reported today that for the first time in three years, the assessed value of all property in Los Angeles and Orange County has increased. The information was from Los Angeles County Tax Assessor John R. Noguez.

While we know numbers can be reflected in a number of ways, the news should be used as an opening to discussing real estate with buyers and sellers alike. All real estate is local and values vary street-to-street and house-to-house. When a willing seller and a willing buyer meet, we have true market value.

Michael, Congrats on the Good New y'all got. You sure are right about all Real Estate Values are very Street to Street with in a Neighborhood and each home. There has not been a whole lot of movement in my area. There have many homes taken off the market in the last few months, which had been on the market for the pass 3 and 1/2 years.

Dale -- when a seller is really ready to sell a home and has all of his/her/their ducks in a row --- that's a truly WOW moment.

Richard -- YES! Good news can be and should be CONTAGIOUS. Success stories need to be spread because they are happening. Oh my -- you mean you have to qualify for a home? Yes and that's a good thing, a very good thing. As you have outlined there are some excellent programs for buyers at every pricing level. Thanks for the positive message. Take care.
