Anyone who uses a Laptop- probably a few of you out there....
So I run through laptop batteries like crazy. Every year or so I buy a new one off ebay. I know you shouldn't just toss them away because of the environmental impact. You can take them to an electronics store to dispose of them BUT WAIT....................................................
This is truly AWESOME! I know this sounds crazy but give it a try....what do you have to lose?
- Take your laptop battery and wrap it in Newspaper 4 or 5 times.
- Put it in a gallon size ziplock
- Put it in the FREEZER and wait 4 days (probably should have a back up battery anyway, so don't be a cheapskate for $25 on ebay)
- Take your battery out and let it thaw overnight
- Unplug all your laptop cords
- Take battery out if there is one in there and replace with battery you put in Freezer
- Plug in your laptop and turn on...
For the record, I had 2 batteries that were dead and this only worked for 1 of them. One of the batteries mysteriously came back to life and is holding a 2 hour charge!!!!!! CRAZY!!!!! It's been 1 week now and still running that battery and totally recharged like new.
So before you toss that laptop battery in the neighbor's pool, give this a try and hope it works for you!!!! Let me know your results. Good Luck!
