Get Energy Smart! Free Energy Workshop at Rockland Community College Suffern NY August 18,2011
With the shakeup of the country's economy, all of us are looking for ways to tighten our belts. Rockland Community College will be hosting a free Home Energy Workshop sponsored by RenewRockland.org today August 18 from 5:30pm until 7:00pm. It will take place at their new Technology Center in their Ellipse Room.
You'll have the chance to learn about Orange and Rockland Utilities incentive programs and what you can do to upgrade your home and save on utility bills. If you haven't ever had a home energy assessment done on your home you can apply for one there. There will be BPI qualified contractors on hand to answer any questions you might have about energy upgrades and who are trained to specifically to use a whole house approach to identifying and implementing energy efficiency improvements to your home.
You can register to attend the event online at renewrockland.org or you can just go. There's no cost to attend and in fact, you'll get to go home with some free goodies just for attending - FREE CFL bulbs.
