Pat, what a great photo. That must have been fun seeing the buck up close and personal. Sounds like a lovely place for a stroll. --Krystal
Pat - I love nature preservers and without them every animal would become extinct! You captured a beautiful photo of this sweet looking buck - he looks like he's posing for you!
Pat, that's a great shot! Gald you were able to catch him before he leapt off, thanks for sharing.
Pat, what fun to catch a shot like that. Looks like he's just growing his antlers for the winter.
Great shot! They are so majestic! Perfect timing....almost like a painting!
Hi Pat, what a beautiful photo. It looks like a watercolor. He is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful week-end.
Hi Pat,
What a spectacular photo, absolutely beautiful with the light and the coloring.
Pat, that sweet looking buck will eat everything in your yard if he can get to it. This is why I refer to annuals as expensive deer food.
Nice post though, great piture!
Hi Pat! This is a great photo and you have captured some amazing tones in the color of the buck! I like how he blends in with the wheat colored tall grasses. Beautiful picture and what a great place to visit!
Pat - What a great shot! He looks so colorful - like a painting! :)
☂Pat, aren't you lucky to have had that camera out and ready to get this delightful shot! I'll bet your walks in Ritchie Woods are always providing you with something sweet. I just love that you take the time to enjoy it...

Pat, I can't believe you were able to get this great shot in. You must have been so excited to see this beautiful animal right in front of you. I don't think I would be able to even think straight enough to point and shoot until it was too late. In my community we see deer almost on a daily basis (we are living in the foothills) but the beauty of this deer doesn't come close to the deer here (or could it be that the photographer is a great artist?)
Hi Pat, whenever something like that happens to me, I pretend I'm part of a cast in a Disney movie! Oops, was that too much personal information???
