Children understand way more than we think they doo. We have an old saying -' out of the mouths of babes." This is a very touching story. This is sad and also inspirational to realize and think about what so many families go through for our country and our freedom.

A young family man was being deployed oversees.  He was explaining to his young son that he would be away for a while.

Son, I am going to Iraq for 6 months. 

"But dad, replied the son.  Why, son't you know there is a war over there!

We may not think the kids listen or understand all of the time, but given the chance you will be very surprised more times than not.

That is a touching story.  Sure hope the Dad gets home safe to his family.  My heart goes out to all of our Service Men and Women who are deployed to war areas.
