This is an interesting website that Fred Griffin brought to my attention. I have not yet tried to upload anything , but it might be the place to put your grandparent's memories, your parent's wisdom and anything from your family that you want to share with far-flung relatives so that they feel they have some share in the family tree.
Thank Fred for his great post that is so informative and shows the features of Proust.

According to GiGaOM,
"Proust... is Completely Free to Use... Life stories can be viewed in either Timeline Form or a Storybook Format over a series of pages.
Proust was ...inspired by a segment in In Search of Lost Time, a 19th century novel written by Marcel Proust in which the protagonist bites into a certain kind of cookie that brings back a rush of memories from his childhood."
Proust is also a Regular Feature on Vanity Fair Magazine
At the end of the nineteenth century, when Proust was still in his teens, he answered a questionnaire in an English-language confession album belonging to his friend Antoinette, daughter of future French President Félix Faure, entitled "An Album to Record Thoughts, Feelings, etc." At that time, it was popular among English families to answer such a list of questions that revealed the tastes and aspirations of the taker.
Proust answered the questionnaire several times in his life, always with enthusiasm.
