Handy Fest is almost over for another year, but today is still a big day! The Street Strut is always fun to watch, and if you like being on the river, there’s a concert with boat access only this afternoon. Here’s a link to today’s full schedule. Don’t forget about the headliner concert tonight at Norton Auditorium, featuring the hometown boys The Drive-by Truckers for the first time at the festival.

The Florence-Lauderdale County Farmer’s Market is from 6 a.m. - 12 p.m., at the intersection of Chisholm Road and Cox Creek Parkway. Only a couple more weeks are left for the year so get on out there if you like locally-grown produce.
The same is true for Jack-O-Lantern Farms Greenhouses Indoor Farmers Market from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., across the street from Holiday Inn, Sheffield. I think I might head over there myself today…
