The first thing I do when I jump into my car is buckle my seat belt. After I fight to back out of my crazy driveway, I turn up the radio and proceed to jam out. I’m pretty good at station surfing and can almost guarantee that before the day is over, I am going to hear the “Click it or Ticket” commercial. Every year, an estimated 975 child occupants under 14 years of age die from being in a car accident.

Your child’s car seat must be the right size for his/her weight and height.
The car seat MUST be properly installed.
Infants and toddlers should ride rear-facing until they are 2 or when they reach the highest weight + height allowed by manufacturer.
If you can move the car seat at the base, it’s not tight enough.
