Welcome to Timber Ridge in Highland Mills, NY, where you can enjoy country living at its best!
The Timber Ridge condominiums and townhouses were built in three phases. Phase one was built starting in 1977. Phase two was built starting in 1986. Phase three was built starting in 1993. The complex has one level, two level and three level units that have 1 bedroom, 2 bedrooms or 3 bedrooms and 1 to 3 bathrooms. The three level units usually have full, finished basements and many of them are walk-out basements. Many units have fireplaces to enjoy on those cold winter days and nights. Some have cathedral ceilings and sky lights.
Some of the units have garages and others have carports.
The grounds are lushly landscaped and there are many mature trees, beautiful shrubbery, and perennial and annual flowers, as you can see from the pictures above. There is a serene feeling in the area where the woods have been preserved, which is in the phase one section. Here, you can have a sense of peace and tranquility and feel at one with nature.
The condominiums and townhouses have lovely patios or decks and there are beautiful mountain views from many of them.
The commute from Timber Ridge to New York City is very convenient. There is a bus nearby that will take you to Manhattan's Port Authority. The Harriman railroad station is close by too and this another way to commute easily into NYC. Many major roadways are available to commuters as well, including the NYS thruway (I-87), Route 32, Route 17, and Route 6.
The Woodbury Commons Premier Outlets shopping center is a few minutes away and there are many other shopping areas near Timber Ridge.
The amenities at Timber Ridge include a pool, tennis courts, a playground, and a basketball court. Additional recreation is available as part of living in the Woodbury, New York area. There is a lake with a beach where you can enjoy swimming and boating, many hiking trails, ball fields, a pool, volley ball courts, ping pong and more!
As a pet lover, I am happy to say that pets are allowed!
At the time of the writing of this article, there are 13 units on the market. There are three 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath units being offered at between $184,000 and $189,900 and there are ten 3 bedroom, 2 to 3 bath units listed at between $189,900 and $309,900.
Between January 1, 2011 and the time of the writing of this article, 2 units have been sold. One 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath unit sold for $184,450 and one 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit sold for $189,000.
