60-Minute Photos compared to Electrical Outlets with USB Ports

By

I have just written a bunch of blogs about what I thought people would find to be the most incredible product since, I don't know, the electrical outlet.  It is an electrical outlet that also has two USB attachments on the side.  I haven't really gotten much in the way of positive response, other than a few.  This is a photo of the plug:

By the number of responses, I am reminded of a funny story.  A friend of ours was offered to buy into a company back in the late 1970s or early 1980s by his friend.  The guy said, "They have these machines in Germany that are blowing Germans away.  Basically, they allow you to take a roll of film, put it in one side of the machine, and have prints automatically come out on the other side of the machine.  We can start a company and call it 60-minute photo."

Our friend said, "Who on earth would want their photographs back in 60 minutes?"  With that, he said thank you for the offer, but skipped on the investment.

From that day forward, if ever asked to recall the story he would always say that the obvious answer to the question of "Who on earth would want their photos in 60 minutes was - everyone in the entire country other than me."

I guess it should teach me a lesson about technology.  It's impossible for one person to predict taste.

How could someone not want an extra two USB ports on the outlets in their kitchen or bedroom or office?

Well, I guess everyone in the country other than me feels they'll do just fine without them.

Oh well. . . If  you are interested, you can buy these suckers online at

http://store.fastmac.com/product_info.php?products_id=458

and, if you mention the word REALTOR IN THE NOTE SECTION OF YOUR ORDER, you'll get a discount of some sort.  I don't know if it's 10% off, free shipping, or what.

I wouldn't be surprised if builders start putting these in new homes.  I must say, it would be convenient for recharging cell phones, IPods, etc.

Hi David, and I think its a pretty good idea, as long as everything is functional from that outlet, I'm down with it.

thanks for stopping by my post on Why I chose real estate-sharped dressed man, fyi, the pics are there now....and the good thing about a suit, depending on the suit, can remove parts if necessary to dress down.
