Based on the definition of a lifeguard, one who looks out for the safety of swimmers and arranges for rescue, do you think you fit that bill? Why should I put my life in your hands or rather wings?
I realize you are perched high and are at least looking in the right direction. But, how would you handle lifting me out of the water or administering a mouth to mouth resuscitation?
After careful consideration I think I will take a pass on this beach.

Hmmmm... I don't think so... It would probably just poop on my head then fly away as I was drowning.. Or it would save the drowning fish that was right next to me...

Jennifer that's not a life guard, it's the guards' watch bird. If someone comes near the stand, that bird will keep them away.
I like what Ed had to say. If someone gets too close, they get a little "poop" on the head! LOL
Jennifer I don't think the sea gull is looking for swimmers to save, but rather fish to eat :)
