I just recently had this happen to me.... Buyer saw the home we wrote an offer seller agreed to pay three percent. Not understanding basic closing cost the seller asked for a general idea of their net. So when I gave them an idea.... Now they only want to pay three percent total including my commission and closing cost. I explained to the buyer that I would help out with my commission but I couldn't work for free. The buyer agreed totally. We decided to find another home. Seller finally SOLD the home for less money and paid all closing cost and pre paid items. The seller called numerous time has your buyer found a home yet. We are willing to look at offer by that time we had already found them something different. GREED is a bad thing
