Where or where did my Oregon sun go?

Oh where did my Oregon sun go?

This is how I felt with this flower as we watched it enjoying the sun. Then that darn sun went behind a cloud and then it looked like that poor flower was begging for the sun to come back as it leaned toward where the sun used to be coming from. Now, I know it was only the wind blowing it that direction, but still, it still was looking like it was missing it. (No worries, it got it back 2 minutes later when the cloud decided to move on)

I hear sun is a precious commodity up there.

Exactly where is the geographic break between cloudy all the time and resonable sunshine?

Beautiful flower, Todd!  I live in Arizona and I feel like that when the sun goes away (except in the summer - we'll take a day without sun here and there).

Hmmm, you can have all my sun that you want. Everyday in July 100+, both days in Aug 100+. It is awfully bright here.

Todd,

The flower is great, and the dark sky gives it an interesting hue. :)

Hi Todd, In some parts of the country, I am thinking people would almost prefer the clouds for a couple days ( the record heat) , LOL. Very nice capture Todd.

@Bill - LOL.

Todd - I'm glad to hear that you're still enjoying a little bit of sun up north.
