Blogging is like having an online diary.
Here is where I talk about challenges my clients and I face every day, successes we've enjoyed, strategies we've utilized, dreams we hope to accomplish someday, and from time to time, venting just to let off some steam. Gee...doesn't that sound like a diary?
What and how to write a blog
After reading Marte Cliff's post about "Face the fear and blog anyway" it took me back to the time when I was lurking in the background, my mouth agape at the incredible information and camaraderie and style of the Active Rain bloggers.
In time, I learned to squeak in a few comments or so. Even ventured out with my own blogs. Learned a few tricks about inserting photos, embedding videos. It wasn't until last month that I even provided colors and changed the fonts on my blogs.
Here are just some resources (click on the links for the long lists of blogs)

What to write about --- tons of blog topics suggestions!
This is such a dynamic community that there is always something to share, something to try, something to learn, where to eat/drink/and be merry, what to look out for, and more.
Dear ActiveRain Diary.....Today is a good day....
For me.... it is still my online diary. The funny thing is, whenever I have an opportunity to review what I've written before, it makes me smile.
My, my, my....how I've grown! Geez, and I worried over that? Wow, look at all the folks who have made a significant impact on me as a realtor/blogger!
Benefits of a diary/journal
And then....the benefits rolled in. People found my blogs and contacted me. As a result, nearly 40% of my business has been the results of my ActiveRain activities.
Dear ActiveRain Diary...yesterday was a good day. Today is a good day. And Tomorrow, by thinking positively, it WILL be a good day!
