Pay it Forward - Helping Rocky Pay it Forward

My 16 month old golden retriever, Rocky, decided to take me for a quick walk last night after dinner. 

Whenever we see paper or trash along our walks, he has to run over and check it out.  Last night he saw a small piece of paper on the side of the sidewalk under a tree.  He grabbed it and brought it over to me.  Wow!  It was a twenty dollar bill all folded up.

I looked all around to see if there were people anywhere.  There are no houses along this path and there were no people anywhere. I wasn't sure who lost the money, but Rocky convinced me it was OK to take it.

I asked him if he wanted me to buy bones with the money.  He looked bored with the idea.  Then I asked him if he wanted to donate it to the PetSmart Charities to save the lives of homeless pets.  He started wagging his tail. 

Of course, Rocky would like to bring all of the homeless pets home with him, but since that probably won't work, we donated the money to the charity.
