Kathy, Love the little tree frogs! Had one hanging out next to our back door for a week or so earlier this year. Think he went looking for wetter environments though :)
Terrific photo! Your little tree frog looks relaxed as he contemplates his next move. Enjoy the day!
Good morning, Kathy....I think I had my high school biology class dissect his third cousins....swamp frogs.....
Wonderful photo.... Makes me miss all the little tree frogs in South Florida. We see them here, but not near as often.
Good morning Kathy,
What a gorgeous shot! This is just a precious little tree frog..you really were able to sneak up on him! Thanks for sharing!!
Cute little guy; we have lots of them here too, Kathy. Hope you have a wonderful day.
Beautiful photo! The colors are so vibrant and the frog looks so peaceful!
Have a nice week
Stunning photo Kathy and I used to go frogging when I was a kid just to see if I could catch them!
BTW - maybe I never noticed that you are an Ambassador or you just became one - either way you are the perfect embodiment of a wonderful Active Rain Ambassador - helpful, big heart and very giving! You are perfect for the job my friend!
Very cool photo! I've always liked frogs. I used to see them all around the yard when I was growing up.
Kathy - Great shot! I love what you did with the boarder, it adds even more to the photo.
Good Day, Michael- I think they all had their babies at once out at Green Cay. One day the noise from their croaking was actually like a very loud symphony!
Barbara- Actually there was another little frog on a leaf just a foot away. Not sure if they knew each other.
Judith- I was walking so fast I wouldn't have seen him. My husband, eagle eye that he is, spotted him.
BLiz- I've not been overly fond of frogs ever since one jumped on me when I was out playing with my cousins.
Wayne- No care in the world for that frog... yet!
Barbara- ick!!! Now that you mention it I do remember that. When I was in graduate school, we had to kill some of our white rats.. fortunately my lab partner's husband was in medical school so we bribed him to do it.
Amy- I remember when we first moved to FL, I was told to watch out for a certain frog that would be poisonous to my dog if she caught it and decided to make a meal out of it.
Juan- it's kind of like a launching pad, isn't it.
Dorie- Good morning... I'm hoping to find one a little closer next time.
Debra- thank you!!! My camera pales in comparison to the equipment that the real photogs have... $7000 lens on one camera I saw! PS thank you for the Group Feature.
Toni- OOO... your's is too big for me!!!
Virginia- thanks! Can you imagine all of those little frogs growing up to be big noisy croaking frogs.
Gina- Thank you... I need to see if I can borrow my friend's granddaughter's photo that one first place this year. Now.. that's a frog.
Kristine- thank you my NJ friend!!! I've forgotten to ask how your knee is and how your sis-in-law is doing. Don't know if you saw my comment but your photo's today were just on top of the world!!
Bryan- I just remember the big brown frogs in Houston!
Michelle- Thanks! Since I discovered Picnik I've had fun playing with frames.
Sharon- Yes.. i contacted the froggie union first to insure his cooperation!
