As a Lake Charles real estate agent, I love it when Lake Charles gets something new That means Lake Charles is growing and there is a demand and economic success available with franchise opportunities. The newest addition to the Ryan Street Strip of restaurants in Lake Charles is Five Guys Burgers and Fries located at 2950 Ryan Street next to the Southgate Shopping Center. Lake Charles residents will remember the building as the old Hollywood Video store. I have been driving by watching the progress and waiting for Five Guys Burgers and Fries to Open!
Five Guys Burgers and Fries opened this week in Lake Charles, LA. I admit I was jealous when I saw my daughter’s Facebook post about sampling the new burger and fries without me. So I took a break from my Lake Charles real estate schedule and went by Five Guys Burgers and Fries today to check it out for myself. When I posted this photo on my Facebook page, it created quite a stir of comments.
Friends from Philadelphia, Austin TX and Boca Raton, FL commented on how yummy the burgers were at locations in these cities. So I felt proud that Lake Charles has added a Five Guys Burgers and Fries to the map in Louisiana!
When you step through the door of Five Guys Burgers in Fries you will see the bucket of peanuts and large stacked sacks of potatoes! As I stood in line I was enjoying viewing the new interior design in and it appeared that the ordering process was very simple, you choose a burger, hotdog, fries and a drink from the Five Guys Burgers and Fries Menu!
I can be pretty picky about what I want on my burger so when it became my turn to order I begin to tell the order taker what I didn’t want on my burger. She was quick to stop me and said “tell me what you do want on your burger, that is easier”! Then when I asked for my order to-go, she replied “All or orders are to go”. I was then directed to the pick up counter until my number was called and I could pick up my brown paper bag containing my lunch!

The interior of Five Guys Burgers and Fries is done in red and white decor with quotes posted on the walls of Five Guys Burgers and Fries reviews. You may dine in if you so choose at one of the high top tables and chairs.
I enjoyed my hand formed juicy cheeseburger and found it quite tasty with the jalapeno peppers, A-1 and Bar-B-Que sauce I added. It’s easy to see why GQ Magazine rated Five Guys Burgers and Fries “The Best $5 Burger a Man Can Eat” The Washington Post said Five Guys Burgers and Fries was “Willy Wonkas of Burgercraft”!
