15 Comments on Wordless Wednesday- Do you know where this is?
I have no idea, but what a lovely photograph!
I have no idea either... So when are ya going to let us know here it is?? :)
My guess is somewhere near Lake Sinclair, GA! Remember that I'm in Montana and "Near" is a relative term that can decribe locations as far as 150 miles away! Hope all is well Tammy.
Hi Tammy-That looks like a church I saw years ago in Durham NC but somehow I doubt this is the same bldg but it is a beauty whereever it is.
Tammy, It is a cool looking building, but I have no idea where it is located.
Tammy, no I haven't a clue; unless, of course, it is somewhere in Georgia.?????
Tammy, I don't have a clue either! But I love the pic. Thanks for sharing it.
Photo of a building on a college campus taken during the fall or winter.? I'll be back to see your answer.
I had a really lovely dinner out tonight with my daughter... so I'm sorry you had to wait...
It is Georgia Military College located in Milledgeville Georgia just about 10 minutes or so from Lake Sinclair.
But ... Milledgeville Georgia served at the Capitol of Georgia prior to Atlanta (1804 to 1868) and this lovely building was the state capitol.
This is some fascinating history of Milledgeville Georgia.
Darned, you got back too soon...I was going to say Milledgeville...or England...or France...lol. Nice photo and glad you had a lovely time with your daughter. What, no pickles and dessert tonight?
Coconut shrimp. And they were delish. Abigail and I both love them. Her B/f is travelingon business and we had nice dinner and a little shopping thrown in.
Lovely picture, Tammy - those orginal capital buildings really are a site to behold. Our first provincial capital of BC was in Ft Langley, and I think it is a really pretty building, too. It is so recognizable that we always know when a movie has been filmed in our area when we see it on screen!
My first thought was the state capitol building! I was too late to get my answer recorded, but you will just have to take my word for it. :)
Karen that looks a bit like out "governor's mansion" in Milledgville. I'll have to find a photo.
Cal- of course I'd take your word.
I knew it was in Milledgville, but I thought it was your old school :-(
