7 Comments on In Life Work On Being A Builder
Gary, when I encounter a “non-building” agent in a transaction I try to get them to agree to work with me on just the facts before we move to what that those facts are worth. If they stray off into emotion I try to pull them back to a factual discussion. Doesn’t work every time but it helps.
Well said, Gary. Many agents can "lose the forest for the trees" by acting on too much emotion. Even outside of real estate, life is much better when we all have a goal to leave a positive impact.
Relationships are built, your business is built, your emotions can build up. We are constantly laying the foundations for building in our business. You can also help build up someone confidence and help build up their attitude by how you act and react. Build for the good in things.
Gary Another excellent post on building your business . Positive attitude produces positive results.

Beautifully said Gary, suggested!
Gary,
Yes...agents can kill deals. In fact, Cherise dealt with one who acted as a gladiator, mismanaging the other side of the transaction and picking needless battles. Thank goodness it closed today... g
Gary,
Great advise! Some agents are proud of themselves and forgot who they are actually working for.
