Just like when housecleaning, I need to attack the "dust bunnies and fritzels" in my databases once in awhile.  Clean 'em up, dust them off, freshen them, and then move them around to new and more current listings.

The act of doing this periodically helps me in a multitude of ways.  It serves to re-acquaint and freshen my memory regarding my contacts.  It spurs me to reach out, educate, inform, confirm, solidify, and freshen the relationships I have forged.  It also energizes me.  All good in my book!

The act of database "housecleaning" also serves to alert me to the fact that I may have lost a method of contacting someone too.  I may find that a client has changed email addresses, changed cell numbers, changed a job.

It can also alert me to theGene Mundt Chicago Bancorp Current & Correct Communication blog fact that something might have changed in a client's/referral partner's life and that "something" now stands in the way of their receiving news, information, or beneficial assistance from me in regards to their mortgage, finances, credit, or conducting business.  They serve as a huge clue for me .... that I need to reach-out and re-establish contact in some way.

I try to keep ALL lines of communication between myself and my clients/referral partners open, but once in awhile glitches occur.  And that's not good.

     So I ask ...

Whether a current, past, or potential client or referral partner ... or someone new wanting information, brochures & etc., or answers to your mortgage and financial questions, please ... leave me all your pertinent, updated, or NEW contact information here.  You can do so easily via my website's Contact Form ... or you can email, call, text, Skype, Facebook, LinkedIn, stop by my office.  You can find me available through any of those methods too ... and the social media formats make contact and sharing very easy.

Because I continue to monitor mortgage updates, interest rates, financial/credit planning issues and information, mortgage and financial latest news, on my client's behalf AFTER they have closed on their loan as part of my ongoing free services ... and I do a variation of the same services for my referral partners too ...  I must have current and correct contact resources and info.

Help Me Help You!  Make me aware of any changes as they occur for you.  And remember, I want to hear from you when you have questions and concerns regarding your mortgage and credit.  Together we will continue to monitor and then work towards establishing the best financial future possible for you.

Look forward to hearing from you soon ...

Gene - First and foremost, LOVE THE NEW PIC!!!  YOU'RE SO ADORABLE!!!  LOL  Secondly, I too clean out my SOI database pretty regularly.  We have too because as much as we try to stay in touch with our past clients, there are some people that just seem to drop out of our lives.

I keep my SOI database pretty tight and manageable.  I simply refuse to be one of those kinds of people who keeps an SOI database of thousands of people in it who I don't know and never done business with and who I met in passing and never had more than a brief conversation with.  That's just silly.

Donne:  I don't think you do yourself any favors when you keep people in your databases like that.  WHAT are you marketing to?  There's no relationship to tie you together .. to bind.  To me, it's a waste of time, effort, and money.  But every now and then you rediscover someone who's been out of touch for a bit ... the light bulb just goes on.  Ashamed to say it, but it happens.  It's just something I need to do, I've learned that.  And thanks re: the pic.  Everyone was remarking just how much she's a carbon copy of her daddy ... so they put his Virginia Military hat on her and took this pic.  And yep ... like looking at him at that age.  Babysitting tonite and tomorrow, so really looking forward to the weekend!
