Vacation Bible School at Covenant Presbyterian


There are as many different ways to "Pay It Forward" as there are people that do it. Whenever possible, Arthur and I look for a "hands on" opportunity and Vacation Bible School at Covenant Presbyterian is an excellent one.

VBS at Covenant is different in several ways
  • Classes are held in the late afternoon
  • A hot dinner meal is served (parents are welcome)
  • The sanctuary in our church is state-of-the-art with multimedia capability and the kids have transformed it to a theater set for their graduation performance on Friday night and during this Sunday's worship services
  • After dinner they practice their show
Arthur and I are part of the "kitchen crew" setting up, serving dinner and then participating in the fun of cleanup.

Although Covenant has a large fellowship hall the photo below is of the narthex which can handle functions for approximately 100 people. I am facing the sanctuary - there is a two story glass wall looking into the sanctuary. Behind me there is a two story glass wall facing the front campus..
