If I can’t reach you by showing you how to save money by implementing going-green ideas, maybe I can make a dent by sharing with you how to improve the quality of your pet’s life.
Yes, pets can go green, too.
And they need it. Actually, it is their nature to be connected to the earth. Consumer living with its fast tempo and chemically induced food and medicines have greatly upset the natural life cycle of all animals in this country.
For this particular blog, I won’t give out any tips. However, I will share with you all my resources on the topic. I do not know what kind of pet you have, and I do not want to come across as though I believe one type of animal is more important or worthy than another one.
I thank Chrissy Trask and her book It’s Easy Being Green for this valuable information.

I remember reading once that the cancer rate in household pets is beginning to catch up with their owners. Is it because they basically eat the same garbage we do?
Food for thought?
Best of luck and go Green.

I had a dog die of stomach cancer... I think it was probably the plastic toys he ate more than the food. Oh and the remote controls, the shoes, the razor blades (he had surgery to remove them), the bottle of deconngestants (hospitalized no surgery) more than the food that caused the stomach cancer.
