One thing I learned last night, Blackfoot Fans are forever faithful.
I haven't seen a real record album in years! Let alone one that was produced in 1979 like the one seen in this photo.
Blackfoot Strikes was the album that had Highway Song, Train Train & Wishing Well.
This is the album that shot Blackfoot up the charts and made them a familiar name.
The show of course was great, I always enjoy them. Biketoberfest typically has lower attendance then Bike Week in March, but it seemed to be a pretty decent crowd last night. I was happy for the guys.
People I talked to came out to the White Eagle specifically to see the band and meet the guys and have a rocking good time.
And, I finally got some decent drummer shots! Ever since I met the band, I've been trying to get good photos of the drummer, last night SUCCESS!
This is Michael Sollars, he recently joined Blackfoot sometime after Bike Week.
This boy can play! I don't know how drummers do it, he was all over the place.
Hands and feet going at the same time, never missing a beat. I was watching his feet thinking to myself, how does he do that? It's was crazy watching both his feet going.
Bobby Barth
Greg T. Walker
Charlie Hargrett
And Most Importantly
The Fans!
I did get some video and learned a couple new tricks too! There is a sound issue, but it was my camera, not the guys. Enjoy! (Oh yeah, one word may not be suitible for little ears.)
