Is "Location, Location, Location" still the correct term in todays market?

Or should this be revised to "Price, Price, Price"

Seems like today's buyer is solely focused on price, while location has taken a second seat.

The current Buyer's markets seem to dictate this thinking, but the buyer someday will have to sell. Then location will become a key word once again.

Let's hope they put some thought into the important decision.

None of the above any more....people do not buy things, they buy with emotion. It is not important which one is emphasized, but it is important to find the right house, for them to like it and see its potential. Then it will be easier to deal with location and/or price. Of course as long as they can afford it and it meets their needs.

I agree, emotions is a big motivator, but doing their due diligence as they would with any investment is still a must.

I'm finding that it's a combination of many things.  People are really caught up in the emotion of the home, but the location and price, well they go hand in hand in our market in Utah.

I don't think emotions will ever go away in the Real estate world. I have heard of buyers jumping on homes purely for pricing these days. The location doesn't seem to be the deciding factor as it once was.

Sorry - but it has never been price, price, price.  Otherwise, people would buy homes, much like they do stocks and bonds, based on the numbers first.  People don't do a market analysis and then only go look at homes that are priced at a discount.  People go look at homes and then work to see if you can purchased the home at a good price. Yes, If the price is not there they move on. Most buyers narrow their search based on an area and price range that they can reasonably afford and work to get a 'deal' on the specific home that they want within the area.  This would mean location, location, location is paramount.

Or could it be "Emotions, Emotions, Emotions"? Most likely have to be all the above combined.

Loprem would be the new term for "Location, Price, Emotion.  :-)
