MARKET UPDATE  and Report for MANCHESTER NH for June 2011 compared to July 2011

* Currently there are 595 properties for sale in MANCHESTER NH

* There were 157 new listings from 7/1/11 to 7/31/11, That is  56 LESS than June 2011

* There were 80 properties put under contract and 105 placed contingent for a total of 185  from 7/1/11 to 7/31/11, That is  6 LESS than June 2011
 

* There were 92 properties that Closed from 7/1/11 to 7/31/11, That is  13 MORE than June 2011

IN CONCLUSION THE MARKET SLOWED FOR JULY WHICH IS NOT UNCOMMON GIVEN THE JULY 4TH HOLIDAY. There were less homes coming on the market and more homes closed in July than June which reduces inventory. That is certainly good news for sellers of homes in the area.

For buyers now is indeed the time to act, a buyer can easily get pre-quailified for a mortgage at no cost by meeting with a local and trusted mortgage broker or bank. Please see my blog for tips on getting a mortgage.


Prices are still low and interest rates are still near all time lows.
