Living in Denver, Wash Park Grille

Denver Homes &  Living in Denver - Denver Restaurants -  Wash Park Grille

If you are looking for a fun, delicious, well established Denver restaurant, without going all the way downtown - I would recommend checking out Washington Park Grille, more well known as Wash Park Grille.  Located on south Gaylord street just a bit north east of Wash Park, its long been a Denver local favorite.

Their mostly Italian menu has a local flavor to it, and its a great blend of steak, chicken, pasta and seafood.  We have been eating here for years and it seems to always be a place we leave extremely happy with the food and the service.  Waits for a table on the weekend sometimes can get long and they only take reservations for large parties, but the bar area is a fun area to wait.

Some of our favorite items are the steaks and my wife loves the fettuccine with chicken and artichokes.  The bruchetta appetizer is also a not to miss.  They also have a great dipping sauce for your bread before your meal, its an olive oil mixed with some type of seasonings - I love this and can't stop eating it.

If you have time while you are at Wash Park Grille, check out the other area businesses on South Gaylord Street.  Its an eclectic mix of boutiques and restaurants that is sure to become one of your favorite Denver neighborhoods.  And if you love this area as much as so many others do, you may want to even consider looking at homes in the area.  Matched with style and old-Denver charm, there is something for everyone around South Gaylord Street and even further toward Wash Park and into the University of Denver neighborhoods and then north into Bonnie Brae and Cherry Creek.

If you are interested in homes in or around the Denver metro area, it would be my pleasure to assist you.

Steve,

That whole South Gaylord area is great ... parking can be tough since there are many residence only parking restrictions ... but still a great place ... there are several areas in Denver that have little neighborhood restaurants that are great places to visit.

Allen, I seem to have parking karma so I can't say I have had a problem there, but I can see how it could be on a busy night.  Thanks for stopping by.
