Ever question why some people are so against eating meat?  Or have you yourself considered the alternate lifestyle? It can be a huge life changing experience because it is something completely new.  You cannot have the same meals you were used to, which means a change in shopping habits and snacking.  What if the food tastes bad and you don’t like it?  Aside from tofu and vegetables, what do they eat?

President of the Triangle Vegetarian Society Dilip Barman will be at the Herbert C. Young Community Center to answer all your questions.  He is an international speaker and cooking instructor.  Discuss is much invited to this class on August 12th at 6pm.  Afterward, everyone is invited to an Indian Restaurant for a meal.

Location: 101 Wilkinson Avenue

What an interesting topic. I know that whenever I tell people I don't eat specific types of meat, they are surprised and ask why. It's just a lifestyle choice, and this is an amazing opportunity to learn all about it! Thank you for sharing.
