Well it is almost time for the annual Ladies Victorian Christmas Tea held at Grace Ministries International, 263 Route 125 in Brentwood, NH. This is an event that has raised funds for several charities over the years and is always a great success evidenced by the fact that it sells out year after year.
The ladies of the Brentwood Community and Grace Ministries will garb themselves with corsets & bustles (only kidding) and their finest attire to hostess a table at the affair. Each table will be decorated by the hostess with her finest linens, silverware and china and laden with delicacies sure to please the most fussy palate.
The doors will open at 6:30pm giving everyone an opportunity to view the tables illuminated by candlelight (this is my favorite part of the evening).
Promptly at 7:00pm the butlers (yes we have butlers!) will begin serving the tea. The evening will be filled with conversation, food, entertainment and laughter. The event will end about 9:30pm giving ample time to get home before the clock strikes 12 (we would not want to have the carriages turning into pumpkins now would we?).
This event promises to be the "talk of the town" for weeks to come and is a fitting kickoff to your Christmas festivities. Young and old alike are sure to enjoy, so why not make this your "girls night out" or a "mother/daughter" event?
The tickets are on sale now until November 14th at a cost of $20.00 each. They are available by either contacting me, Judy Tuscano, via email at jude1220@comcast.net or by calling Grace Ministries International office at 603-642-7848.
My good friend, fellow camper, blogger and Realtor, Monika McGillicuddy will be joining me this year and my oldest grandson Bryan will be my butler. What more could a girl ask for? I hope to see some of you there.
I love this Tea...it is so cool seeing all the pretty tables and of course enjoying the entertainment.
Jay and I are down at Penn State...tailgating in Bill and Nada's mo ho...
