My almost "Speechless Sunday" with a photo of my daughter, April Giddens, who recently was named the Louisiana 2012 Teacher of the year! As a VERY proud mother, I just had to share.
One of the awards is the use of the 2012 Mercedes Benz you see here for one year. Also pictured are her children (and my grandchildren) Hannah, Timothy and Emma.

Wow! A big congratulations to you and your family,, what an honor to have an accomplished daughter. If it were up to me, they should just give her the car, it is the least they can do for one of the most important jobs. A
Alexandra - yes a huge celebration in our family! What was SO crazy was that the Mercedes dealership told her that in other states they DID give the car to the teacher! But in Louisiana - there is some type of crazy law (Napoleonic, I'm sure!) - that precludes them GIVING it! They did say they would sell to her at the end of the year at a very discounted price - we will see! Thanks for your comments!
